By means of a caliper, it would be very difficult to determine the graph, and would be very time-consuming and tedious.

This explains why controls are limited to a few per-centage points of the total number of pipes concerned.

First step (Extremes determination)

    • The pipes must be sorted when delivered at the factory.
    • Our experience shows that a few non-conforming extremities are responsable for a great many hours of repairs.

       

Second step (Optimizing and matching)

    • In automatic welding we know that the setting of the pipe determines the weld and that the 2mm edge determines the ovalization limites of the over-or-under size of the pipe ents.
