The Tracer is a powerful built'in data analyser.
This utility features dynamic configuration of real-time or archived
trends with zooming and scrolling functions, a statistic module and a direct link to any
spreadsheet software. The Tracer is able to display simultaneously
real-time trends whereby graphs are updated according to actual changes in variables and
archived trends read from exported recorders. It can be used to display operational
trends, compare previously recorded and current activities and correlate actions and
responses. All data handled by the Tracer must be previously defined in
recorders. The Tracer can be edited and viewed in operation mode. In a
single chart up to ten trends can be displayed simultaneously, each with its own Y scale,
color, width, line style and point style. All trends are drawn according to a common X
scale which may be the time or a another variable of the application (X-Y chart). Before
using it, the Tracer has to be configured. This is done in a very
straigthforward manner by activating the Tracer configuration dialog box.
Chart view The Tracer represents the successive sampling points of
variables attached to a real-time or a previously exported data recorder in a chart view.
