Integrated restricted
high performance database access through standard SQL Using JDBC high performance access
to databases is available, as required, and an easy interface with ERP systems
(SAP, Baan, Ross, etc.). Access to the database is effected by a "component"
connected via a highly effective viewing program. The JDBC component authorises
SQL requests to most of the common databases (DB2, SQL Server, Sybase, Access,
Dbase, etc.) and/or ERP systems (SAP, Baan, etc.).
Built-in mechanisms direct the real time information you select
(measurements, checks) towards the pre-set tables in the database or created by
the database for operating formula management or the control of automatic
recording devices. Seahorse
Data Supervisor provides integrated tools for using
these data which facilitate the concrete loading of applications.
components
library This suite
enables SPC data (Statistic Process Control) to be stored automatically : event
frequency, instantaneous and cumulative details of duration of operation, minima
and maxima, types of differences, etc.) Other components ensure that these are
displayed in numerical form or in one of a standard range of formats, such as a
Pareto diagram.
The suite ensures complete supervision of installation running times,
equipment correct functioning times (thanks to a GMAO preventive program) and
time management of production orders (planning advance/delay, execution time,
etc.).
GlobalTRACKING™ components
library These components automatically control the recording of all the
application data on the installation's reference database(s). More often than
not, these data are elaborated directly by the GlobalSPC components (accumulated
quality control data, for example) and synchronised by the operator or the
equipment itself (end of lot event).
To make use of this data,
the components suite incorporates powerful operating and display components such
as the "tracker", which can display data sought in real time or subsequently in
the form of graphs, histograms or numerical tables. Excellent ergonomics
effortlessly provide instantaneous, mean, minimum and maximum values and types
of difference on any portion of the graph for each of the curves and allow ready
comparison of, for instance, previous and current production curves. One of the
tracker sub-windows comprises the alarms log, enabling you immediately to relate
a production anomaly to a machine stoppage or other event.
The GlobalTracking components suite also provides the return data necessary
for the maximum efficiency on any ERP system connected to an Intranet.
